By accessing or using our Site or booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or services.

1. Notary Services & Scope of Authority

  • No Legal Advice: BSG Notary, LLC is a notary public provider, not an attorney or law firm. We are strictly prohibited by law from providing legal advice, drafting legal documents, recommending specific legal forms, or advising on the legal effect or enforceability of any document.
  • Document Integrity: The customer is solely responsible for ensuring that all documents presented for notarization are complete, accurate, and suitable for their intended purpose prior to the appointment.

2. Client Responsibilities & ID Requirements

To complete any notarization service, all signers must comply with applicable state notary laws:

  • Identification: Each signer must present a valid, unexpired, government-issued photo ID (e.g., Driver's License, State ID, U.S. Passport) at the time of service. The name on the ID must reasonably match the name on the document.
  • Presence & Competency: All signers must be physically present at the time of notarization and display sufficient mental capacity and willingness to execute the document.
  • Witnesses: If your document requires independent witnesses, you are responsible for providing them unless witness arrangements have been explicitly requested and confirmed in advance with BSG Notary, LLC.

3. Appointments, Fees & Payment Terms

  • Fees: Fees for notary services, travel, mileage, or administrative services will be disclosed prior to booking or at the time of service in accordance with applicable state fee limits.
  • Travel / Service Charges: Travel and administrative fees are earned upon dispatch or arrival at the designated location and are non-refundable, even if the notarization cannot be completed due to invalid ID, absent signers, lack of competency, or customer refusal.
  • Payment: Payment is due upon completion of the appointment (or prior to service, if specified). We accept designated credit/debit cards, electronic payments, or cash.

4. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Cancellation Notice: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 2 hours before the scheduled appointment time.
  • Late Cancellations / No-Shows: If a notary arrives at the designated location and the appointment cannot proceed due to client non-appearance, missing ID, incomplete documents, or refusal, the full travel/service fee remains due and payable.
